Since 1991, I have represented clients as an advocate in mediation and arbitration and as plaintiff or defense counsel in litigation in state and federal courts. Since 1995, I have served as the sole or a panel arbitrator in arbitration matters. Beginning in 1997, I limited my practice to alternative dispute resolution, transaction and compliance matters for a wide range of healthcare clients. I continue to represent a broad range of providers (from solo physicians to large physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, dialysis and vascular centers, imaging centers, independent diagnostic testing facilities (IDTFs), laboratories, DME suppliers and ancillary providers) in preparing and negotiating contracts with other providers, hospitals and hospital systems, and insurers, joint venture transactions, organizational and operational matters, medical staff issues, regulatory and compliance matters (including Anti-kickback, Stark, Anti-Mark-up, HIPAA and False Claims), and audit matters.
