I have significant experience in the practical application of the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and Civil Monetary Penalties Law. I was the General Counsel for a Hospital System for 7 years that provided me with the ability to assess legal issues and apply the legal requirements to the business objectives. I am also a thought leader on Fair Market Value and Commercial Reasonableness. I am a frequent speaker at conferences, including conferences sponsored by the AHLA, Health Care Compliance Association and the American Association of Provider Compensation Professional (I am on the Advisory Board for the AAPCP). It is my practical experience that will serve parties well in the capacity of a Mediator and Arbitrator.
