Comprehensive scheduling orders are prepared with the advice and consent of counsel at the outset of each case. I am proficient with eDiscovery protocols and have substantial experience using AI and predictive coding discovery tools in arbitrations. I understand the parties’ need for information and the need for an efficient and fair process. I quickly respond to emails and unless issues are unusually complex, prepare orders on motions within a week. I am a strong believer in the use of technology to make the process and final hearings efficient, do not require formal briefing unless requested, and provide reasons for my decisions in both orders and awards. Above all, my goal is to ensure the parties are given a full and fair opportunity to present their claims and defenses.
