I have had extensive experience in serving on some 300 or more arbitrations in which detailed written awards were issued. I have had a wide variety of matters which I have had to rule upon. Matters involving breech of contract, employment issues, technical medical and health issues, and nursing home issues. From the many medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death cases that I have mediated, I have learned a lot about the human anatomy and medical terminology, which would be very helpful to me in arbitrating cases. Further, I have dealt with ERISA cases and health insurance policy disputes. I am prompt at rendering detailed, reasoned awards on arbitration cases. Our firm has an exceptional conference center in Little Rock, AR and a nice and very functional office in Memphis, TN, which are both very conducive to hosting arbitrations.

Fees and Hours

My rate is $450 per hour

I charge for travel time as follows:

Generally I charge $.55 per mile for driving my automobile, plus a modest travel fee of $100-$200 depending on the length of travel. If required to fly the airfare would be charged to the parties as well as hotel and meals for any overnight stays.

I charge for cancellations as follows:

If the case is cancelled within 25 days of the arbitration date, I charge a cancellation fee of $1,500.00 for each day scheduled.

Other information about my fees:

There will be a charge for meals but my office will coordinate the serving and delivery of meals.
