Fees and Hours
I will charge actual expenses for travel, including but not limited to airfare, hotel accommodation, food, and other associated expenses. Additionally, an additional one hour of my hourly rate will be charged to cover any incidental expenses incurred during travel. All travel-related charges will be itemized and transparently communicated for review and approval by the concerned parties.
The cancellation fee will not be applicable if the hearing is canceled at least 15 days before the scheduled hearing date. However, if the cancellation occurs within the 15-day period leading up to the scheduled evidentiary hearing day, the hearing fee will be applicable. In such a scenario, the cancellation fee shall be equivalent to one day's hearing fee as specified in the case agreement. Both parties hereby agree to these terms and acknowledge their responsibility for adhering to the cancellation policy.
For my services, my hourly hearing rate is $450 per hour, and my per day hearing rate is a flat fee of $3300 for an 8-hour day hearing. If the parties choose to opt for the hourly rate, the applicable hourly rate will be implemented as agreed upon. Alternatively, if the parties select an 8-hour hearing, the suggested flat rate fee is advised, considering the potential economic benefits for both parties. All billing details will be clearly outlined and discussed with the parties to ensure transparency and understanding.
