I have extensive experience with health care related disputes involving hospitals, physicians and third parties and have a strong understanding of the laws governing these entities. My arbitration and mediation engagements have included a variety of topics, including reimbursement and coverage disputes; physician practice purchases, practice divorces and other conflicts; physician agreements; health care service agreements; health care vendor disputes; alleged nursing home negligence; and health care employee discriminations disputes. I have also arbitrated and mediated a significant variety of commercial and employment cases. In addition to 13 years experience as a senior level attorney at a very large and diverse academic medical center, I have 20 years experience as a commercial litigator and arbitrator.
