I bring almost 30 years of experience in litigating, arbitrating and resolving disputes involving hospitals, medical practices, device manufacturers, health plans and other healthcare entities. I apply that knowledge to mediation of disputes to help parties evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their positions and the alternatives to a negotiated settlement. I have a deep commitment to the mediation process and its value in allowing litigants to avoid the cost, expense and risk of litigation or arbitration.

Fees and Hours

My rate is $550 per hour

I charge for travel time as follows:

No travel time charged for commuting within the Chicago Metropolitan area. Outside of Chicago, regular hourly rate is charged only for time actually spent in transit plus expenses.

I charge for cancellations as follows:

No charge for cancellations more than 30 day before the scheduled mediation, 50% charge for cancellations more than 14 days, cancellation fee equal to 8 hours at regular hourly rate for cancellations less than 14 days.

I am willing to schedule meetings and hearings at night or on weekends.
