My professional background has given me the skills needed to be the considerate neutral in alternative dispute resolution settings. In 2012, I was elected as District Judge for the 29th Judicial District of the State of Louisiana. As a judge, I presided over a wide range of civil and criminal matters while also managing the Drug Court program. Prior to my election to the bench, I gained extensive experience as a trial attorney while concurrently practicing as a solo practitioner and an appointment as an Assistant District Attorney in several Louisiana Parishes. I have always held the highest respect for the decision-making process and remained mindful of the great responsibility afforded me while in these positions. My academic, volunteer and many years of professional experience, together with my passion and dedication, will provide the cornerstone for service as a skilled neutral. I am dedicated to the standards set by American Health Lawyers Association and commit to serving the needs of both the association and its clientel
