As an experienced and fully independent neutral I bring an insight and dedication to cases that produces a thorough, exceptionally well-managed, fair and wholly impartial process, leading to a result grounded in the law and the facts, however complex. I know big cases, particularly in the healthcare field, in which, when in private law practice, I managed high stakes cases for national payers. I also bring a critical balance of perspective, with my firm having been primary outside litigation counsel for Connecticut's largest provider for which i handled many cases during much of my 30 year litigation career. I have taught dispute resolution and healthcare dispute resolution as an Adjunct Professor at UConn Law School and Quinnipiac University School of Law, keeping me up-to-date on all aspects of healthcare conflict and best practices for resolution. Clear communication with counsel, as well as thoughtful and decisive case management and monitoring is key to optimizing party experience and satisfaction with the process and ensuring a fair and well-grounded result.
