Before transitioning to a career in dispute resolution, I spent thirty years in healthcare, focusing equally on two key constituencies: hospital-based physicians and healthcare executives. My work involved securing clinical service contracts for independent physician groups and supporting the efficient development and management of hospital-based practices. In many cases—as an extension of my work with physician clients, or through separate engagements—I also advised hospitals on the growth and optimization of their clinical service departments. This dual perspective has given me a deep understanding of the distinct priorities and challenges faced by both physicians and healthcare leadership. As a result, I am uniquely equipped to resolve conflicts that disrupt the performance of hospital-based clinical departments—such as Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Anesthesia, and Radiology—or to guide realignment efforts that accelerate improvement in these critical areas.
