I am an impartial and independent neutral with extensive experience in conducting and managing arbitrations and conducting mediations including many in the health care field. I taught Arbitration Law for 10 years at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. I am a past Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association, a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators. Fees and Hours
I require reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses outside of the SF Bay Area, such as air, hotel and auto. I do not charge for time spent traveling and will conduct virtual proceedings.
If cancelled 30 or fewer days, I charge a flat fee of $4500 per day.
My fee is $900/hr or $8000/day for mediation which includes reasonable preliminary preparation.
Arbitration fee is $900/hr.
