Managing Member

I have practiced law for 29 years, primarily as a commercial litigator in a wide variety of complex litigation matters and am licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida. I have substantial experience as a neutral since 2008 and have been appointed arbitrator in over 325 arbitrations. I also serve as a hearing officer for employment matters for the Atlanta Board of Education and Fulton County Board of Education, and I previously have been appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court as Special Master to preside over attorney disciplinary proceedings. I place a strong focus on the cost-effective and efficient resolution of parties’ disputes. I have served as arbitrator in cases involving healthcare issues, including health insurance reimbursement claim disputes and other insurer/provider disputes, Medicare Advantage and 340B drug payor/provider disputes, health insurance coverage disputes, ownership/employment disputes among medical professionals and practices, and disputes relating to software, technology, lab/testing, billing, and other agreements in the healthcare field. I have also served as mediator in a medical equipment/services payment dispute. Additionally, I have legal experience in various healthcare matters or for clients in the healthcare field, including: representing a healthcare system and its hospitals/physician practices in various matters for over 10 years, primarily in garnishment litigation as employer-garnishees as well as with respect to an employment compensation/tax dispute and other counseling; representing employees in employment/noncompete litigation by their former employer in the pharmacy, medical equipment, infusion services, and home healthcare business; representing a healthcare technology company and a healthcare/340B consulting company in various legal matters; and representing a former healthcare executive in a federal white collar criminal appeal from a conviction and sentence for conspiracy to defraud the government and making false statements in applications for Medicare/Medicaid benefits. I am available to conduct arbitrations and mediations in-person and by videoconference.
