I have served as a Mediator since 2014 and have mediated in excess of 1,000 cases as of January 2024. Cases mediated involve personal injury, medical/legal malpractice, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, contract disputes, bad faith, employment discrimination, dog bites, coal disputes, and land disputes, to name a few. I have served as an Arbitrator since 2017, and have arbitrated, conservatively, about 350 cases. The majority of these arbitrations have involved nursing home negligence and wrongful death claims. Other areas have involved employment disputes, contract disputes, and medical negligence, among other areas. I have been licensed for 20 years, with at approximately 12 years specifically defending medical negligence cases for hospitals and providers alike. With respect to other areas of law, I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants continuously throughout my practice, which includes workers compensation and personal injury. I have insisted on doing so in order to better serve the parties to any arbitration and/or mediation by having experience from both perspectives. I welcome any questions you may have.
