Mark Zemelman
Neutral (arbitration and mediation)
- As the General Counsel of the largest nonprofit integrated health system in the United States, I am intimately familiar with the perspectives of both payers and providers. - In my 40 years of legal experience, I have handled many different types of cases, including healthcare, employment, construction, and first-party insurance. Many of these cases have involved alleged damages in the tens of millions of dollars, and some have involved alleged damages in the billion dollar range. Many have involved multiple parties. - At Kaiser Permanente, I oversaw the operations of the largest private arbitration system in the United States. - Having run one of the most efficient corporate legal departments in the country, I am focused on providing cost-effective neutral services to the parties.
